someone is selling a tag heuer formula 1 on craigslist. how do i check for it's authenticity? thanks.

Ask for the serial numbers, where it was bought, when it was bought, service history, that kind of thing. The seller should have the papers and certificate of authenticity, maybe even a receipt. Get a good photo from the seller and post it on www.watchnet.com, and see what they say--some of them can spot a fake very easily.
